The call for session proposals is now open for the upcoming MNCodes Summit!
Please consider submitting a proposal to share about the amazing work you are doing to expand computer science learning opportunities for your students — also, please help us to spread the word to others who you think should submit a proposal!

Session Information:

2018 MNCodes SessionsThrough hands-on and interactive sessions, our objective is to provide a space for educators to share knowledge, passion, and resources to empower all learners through computer science. Sessions will emphasize the integration of computer science across content areas as a way to build important lifelong skills for all learners. The MNCodes Summit draws educators, administrators, community education staff, lawmakers, and other stakeholders to join in our vision of making Minnesota a leader in computer science education!

Proposals for breakout sessions should relate to computer science, equity, creativity, collaboration, and integration across curriculum. Full-length sessions will last 50 minutes, and should be hands-on and/or interactive and include a challenge for attendees to complete toward earning Summit prizes at the end of the day. There is also an option to offer a poster session (a less formal opportunity to share with visuals or hands-on demonstration in an open setting with other poster sessions).

Proposals will be evaluated based on their relationship to the Summit’s theme of “Networking to Expand Computer Science Opportunities” and how they may contribute to a well-rounded experience for attendees.
